In a culture that has expressed an imbalance of power across gender lines (read: most often in the form of patriarchy), how can we express value for women in society? Is it only economic (i.e. Equal pay)? That is important but doesn’t seem complete. There are ways to express the value we know exists through the language we use, the encouragement of individual dreams, and Respect (with a capital R).
